An experienced Housekeeping professional with 30+ years of experience, Indrani is an Alumni
of IHMCTAN Kolkata. She is currently associated with Medica Superspecialty Hospital, Kolkata
as their General Manager – Housekeeping.
Indrani’s journey began in 1989. She has since traversed through the Taj Bengal and through
the uber niche Park Hotel, Kolkata as their Director of Housekeeping before moving into the
field of Facility Management when she joined NIS Management Pvt. Ltd, a Pan India company as
their General Manager – Services. In 2010 she moved on to the prestigious Swissotel, part of the
Accor group, as their Director of Housekeeping, spearheading their preopening. She was also
keenly involved in their Quality Movement.
Along the way, Indrani was awarded ‘The Housekeeper of the Year’ award in 2003 by
the International Hotel and Restaurant Association and was even sponsored to Ecole
Hotelier de Lausanne (EHL) to hone her professional and leadership skills. In 2017,
Indrani was nominated as a top contender for the ‘Housekeeper of the Year’ at the 9 th
Hotelier India Awards.

With a warm and cheerful personality, Indrani is a team player and an enthusiastic go-
getter. She exudes grace and is the epitome of a true professional. A regular contributor

to system enhancement, passionate about delivering quality and known for successfully
mentoring many young hospitality professionals, she continues her stride across the Indian hospitality panorama.
