Meenakshi brings with her an enviable 20+ years of experience in the Tourism and
Hospitality industry. She has pioneered and executed several firsts in India including
the first business monthly for the Indian hospitality industry, as well as the awards
which went on to become the ‘Oscars of The Hotel Industry’. From launching the first
catamaran service in Mumbai to launching India as a 'wedding destination' at ITB,
Berlin for the Ministry of Tourism, launching the first MICE Planner for the country as
well as marketing India as a 'cuisine country' at WTM, London – the largest travel
the marketplace of the globe – Meenakshi has constantly been paving the way for the
tourism and hospitality industry professionals.
Her latest venture, in keeping with the times, is to enable hotels to gather green
footprints and become zero-waste institutions. She has also initiated a forum of
Housekeepers assist hotels audit, developing brand standards and professionalize their
housekeeping operations.
Experiencing destinations far and wide – she is firm of the belief that travel changes
