Pre- Opening

At SOHO, we help you set up housekeeping operations in the pre-opening phase for your property. Our projects include the preparation of manuals, policies, and procedures, and the establishment of standards and training.

How does it work?

An initial visit by a SOHO consultant will help review the scope of work and assess the site. After initial feedback is offered to you, a critical path is established for the property to work through to the opening date.


Follow-up visits will continue up to 6 weeks post-opening to assist in the complete training of the housekeeping team.


The work can be conducted both on-site and off-site via emails and phone calls.

  • Pre-opening support is an essential tool for property management to use prior to the appointment of the executive housekeeper. 
  • Critical decisions such as layout, FF&E, machinery and equipment options, procurement, setup of mock-up room, and department of housekeeping can be made easily with SOHO. Once the management takes over, preparation and initial work is then handed over.
